Talented West Ham United youngster Divin Mubama faces a really uncertain future at the London Stadium.

Hammers boss David Moyes has given Mubama, 19, just 25 minutes of action for the senior team this season (Transfermarkt).

It’s easy to see why the young striker might not be ready to commit his future to West Ham just yet, but Moyes has advised him that the best thing he can do is sign a new deal with the Hammers.

Mubama is supremely talented, and in spite of the fact that there are no guarantees that he’ll make it at the very highest level, losing him would be bitter pill to swallow for West Ham.

So with that in mind, the latest update on the teenager’s future is a hugely positive one…

Divin Mubama new contract U-turn

According to Claret and Hugh – a website with very close links to David Sullivan – there is now confidence at the club that a deal can be struck with the 19-year-old forward.

That really is great news – I have no doubts in my mind that Mubama will go on to become a star for West Ham.

He has absolutely everything – impressive pace, incredible movement and finishing ability and a really strong work ethic.

In my opinion, getting him tied down to a new deal will be really important for the Hammers because if he leaves, he’ll undoubtedly go on to succeed with another English club.

That would be really hard to take. He’s a West Ham fan who has been with us since he was a young boy.

And if Divin Mubama signs a new contract with the Hammers, he could easily go on to become a real club legend.
