Hammers boss David Moyes would have been absolutely delighted with his side’s performance, especially with Declan Rice coming back to the London Stadium.

The pre-match build up was heavily focused around Rice’s return, and the Arsenal man went into the West Ham changing room to see how everyone was.

Dec’s return to East London was a highly anticipated one, but in the end, nobody even noticed his performance, and instead it was the Hammers who garnered all of the headlines.

All the post-match news centred around how good the Hammers were, and Mohammed Kudus was one player in particular who really impressed…

Kudus started his second consecutive game for the Hammers last night, and he put in a superb performance, with his stunning strike being the cherry on top of the cake.

Moyes spoke to reporters after the game and absolutely raved about the Ghanaian star, as quoted by WHUFC.com:

“Mo came in and did really, really well tonight. There were a lot of good things to be pleased about.”

Kudus will be an exceptional player for us, I’m absolutely sure of it. The beauty of the 23-year-old is that he can play all across the front-line, so he provides Moyes with real in-game versatility.

The former Ajax ace has a wicked left foot, and we saw that in action last night. He also has pace and power in abundance and his first touch is almost Riyad Mahrez-like!

Kudus scored a fabulous goal, and his all-round performance was truly spectacular.

West Ham have a serious player on our hands in the shape of the Ghanaian, and his performance against Arsenal last night will be a huge confidence boost for him that he has what it takes to succeed in the Premier League.

I expect him to go from strength-to-strength for the Hammers now.
