David Moyes has provided a hugely concerning update on West Ham united defender Kurt Zouma.
West Ham United defender Kurt Zouma was omitted from David Moyes‘s squad tonight for our Carabao Cup clash with Arsenal at the London Stadium.

The 29-year-old has been in fine form for the Hammers this season, and he is one of only two central defenders not to have been dribbled past, alongside Arsenal centre-back William Saliba.
Zouma was named the new West Ham club captain at the start of the season, and he has flourished since being handed that extra responsibility.
The former Chelsea man has looked pretty fit so far this season as well…up until now it seems.
The Frenchman is absolutely vital to everything good that the Hammers do, so Moyes’s comments tonight will be a real worry for the fans…

David Moyes shares hugely concerning 13-word Kurt Zouma update
Moyes spoke to reporters before tonight’s clash with the Gunners in the Carabao Cup.
And the Scot responded when asked by a Sky Sports reporter why Zouma was completely omitted from his squad (Wednesday November 1st, 7:13pm):
“Unfortunately, Kurt just was not fit tonight so we could not involve him.”
Given Zouma’s history with injuries, Moyes’s comments will be a real worry for the Hammers fans.
Let’s hope that it’s just a slight niggle, but if the ex-Chelsea defender has picked up an injury that will keep him out of action for any period of time, then we’ll be in real trouble.
Nayef Aguerd has been incredibly poor this season, whilst Konstantinos Mavropanos is still being eased into action by Moyes. Meanwhile, Angelo Ogbonna seems to be completely done at this level and Thilo Kehrer is far from reliable.
Kurt Zouma is one of the three most important players David Moyes has at his disposal at the London Stadium in my opinion, alongside Jarrod Bowen and Lucas Paqueta.
And we absolutely cannot afford to be without him, even if it’s just for one game.
