Declan Rice makes worrying injury admission as post game video emerges from West Ham which has gone viral.

West Ham are unofficially safe in the Premier League following the 1-0 win over Man United.

Said Benrahma scored a fortunate winner on an electric night at the London Stadium. But there was nothing lucky about the result, with West Ham fully deserving of the victory.

It comes at the perfect time during a difficult season with the two-legged European semi-final looming large over the next couple of weeks.

West Ham’s key players like captain Declan Rice have been through another gruelling campaign.

Rice was imperious again, emerging from the match with Brazil star Casemiro in his pocket.

What a player, what a man

The clock is ticking down on Rice’s time with West Ham.

And they will need their talisman fit and fresh for the games against semi-final opponents AZ Alkmaar as the Hammers bid to make the Europa Conference League final.

So there will be some concern by comments captured on camera at the London Stadium following the Man United win.

Most fans will have seen footage by now of Rice greeting an emotional young fan as the stadium emptied.

The video has gone viral as Rice shows what a top man he is by spending time cuddling and chatting to the tearful little lad.

West Ham’s beloved captain then gives the supporter his shirt despite having already promised it to England teammate Marcus Rashford.

What Rice says to the young Hammers supporter as he takes his shirt is a slight worry, though.

As Rice stretches to pull his shirt off he tells the youngster: “And I’ve hurt my shoulder as well, so you can have that.”

The fact he could pull his shirt off unaided suggests Rice’s injury is not serious.

So let’s hope that is the case with just three days until we do it all again it what now becomes the biggest game of West Ham’s season.
