Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard were pictured behind closed doors together after the 2-2 draw between West Ham and Arsenal yesterday.

And then after the full-time whistle was blown, they were spotted behind the scenes together.

The Hammers star was seen asking the Gunners skipper to sign an Arsenal shirt for him:

Many Arsenal fans were in the comments suggesting that the 24-year-old West Ham man is on his way to the Emirates in the summer.

Whilst that might happen, yesterday was far from the ‘gotcha’ moment that Gunners fans think it was…

Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard snapped together means absolutely nothing

Firstly, I have to clarify this by saying that there is every chance that the Hammers star will leave to join the Gunners in the summer.

However, to suggest that the picture of there two players together yesterday was evidence that Dec is on his way to North London is well wide of the mark.

Rice is well known for having a ‘man cave’ or football shrine if you will inside his house.

The Daily Star obtained pictures inside Dec’s house showing signed shirts from the likes of Kun Aguero, David Silva, Michael Owen and even Harry Kane!

The West Ham star is also known for getting his opponents to sign shirts for him, before auctioning them off for charity.

I think that the Arsenal fans were jumping the gun after seeing Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard together behind closed doors at the London Stadium yesterday.

And it definitely wasn’t the ‘gotcha’ moment that they think it was!
