A new claim has been made about Thomas Tuchel potentially taking over from David Moyes at West Ham United.
Thomas Tuchel has been heavily linked with the West Ham manager’s job recently, with David Moyes really feeling the heat in the London Stadium hot-seat.
However, a recent claim from Jacob Steinberg suggested that Tuchel, 50, is unlikely to be interested in taking over from the Scot as the new Hammers boss.
The German will be leaving Bayern Munich at the end of the season, and it seems as though the West Ham fans shouldn’t yet give up hope of the former Chelsea manager rocking up in East London.

Football journalist Dean Jones has suggested that West Ham could in fact have a chance of bringing Tuchel to the London Stadium…
New Thomas Tuchel to West Ham claim made
Jones took to his official X account to follow up on a previous suggestion he made about the former Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund boss taking over at the London Stadium.
And he claimed that Tuchel to West Ham could now ‘fall into place’:
Tuchel would be sensational appointment for West Ham, there is absolutely no doubting that.
Whatever people say, he was a success at Stamford Bridge. He won the Champions League during his time with the Blues and had his team competing with Premier League juggernauts Manchester City and Liverpool for large parts of the season.
He favours a possession-based system with a front three who are always interchanging positions. If you need evidence of the quality of football that Tuchel is capable of implementing, just watch a video of Chelsea dismantling Real Madrid at the Bernabeu in April 2022.
The German is an astute tactician, and he would take West Ham to another level entirely if he took over from Moyes, I’m absolutely certain of it.
One thing’s for sure, the football that he implements should never be confused with Moyes’s turgid brand of anti-football!
