West Ham United only have two players who would be wanted by the so-called Big Six’, according to Troy Deeney.
Ex-Watford striker Troy Deeney reckons that West Ham quite simply don’t have the personnel required to play an exciting brand of attractive football.
Hammers boss David Moyes has been getting pelters from large sections of the West Ham fanbase this season for the turgid football that he has been rolling out, and rightly so.
It quite simply hasn’t been good enough over the past couple of months especially. We’re not little old West Ham anymore, and we have genuinely top-class players who are capable of implementing a properly exciting playing style.
However, it seems as though Deeney really isn’t on the same page…

Troy Deeney says West Ham only have two ‘Big Six’ players
Only Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus would be wanted by the so-called ‘Big Six’ clubs according to Deeney.
The former Watford striker made the claim, when writing a column for The Sun:
“Go through the squad and see how many players would be wanted by the ‘Big Six’. Probably only Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus, and they might only be squad players at an elite club.”
What about Lucas Paqueta Troy? There is a reason why Manchester City want to sign the Brazilian!
I think the likes of Edson Alvarez and Emerson Palmieri would be able to play for the biggest clubs in world football as well if truth be told.
Troy Deeney isn’t the sharpest tool in the box when it comes to his West Ham knowledge, that much is obvious.
And his latest comments on Kudus and Bowen being the only two players who the ‘Big Six’ would be interested in signing proves exactly how clueless he is.
