David Ornstein has made a claim about David Moyes and his staff at West Ham after the shock 5-0 Fulham thrashing on Sunday.
West Ham’s dismal 5-0 defeat at Fulham has understandably raised eyebrows.
Particularly as it came just days after the 2-1 comeback win at bitter rivals Spurs.
After a bright opening, West Ham were simply not at the races.
And David Moyes insisted illness and fatigue were key factors in the drubbing as he delivered his post-game assessment.

Ornstein makes claim about Moyes and staff
Here on Hammers News after the final whistle we pointed out some strange behaviour from Moyes during the defeat.
The Scot did not leave his seat for the entire second half, sending Hammers assistant coach Billy McKinlay to the touchline instead – a rare sight as West Ham fans will testify.
And we suggested it may have been because Moyes himself was ill.
Now David Ornstein has made a claim about Moyes and his staff at West Ham after the shock Fulham thrashing.
Some disgruntled fans feel Moyes was giving his players too many excuses for the dreadful defeat.

Hammers boss actually downplayed situation
But The Athletic journalist Ornstein published a story late last night claiming Moyes had actually downplayed the situation.
Because the Scot – as we suspected – was also ill as were several of his staff and other Hammers stars who had to play through it.
“Several players and staff members were hit with an illness that swept through the camp,” Ornstein said.
“Pablo Fornals, who started the game, was one of those most affected by the sickness bug.
“Manager David Moyes was also left feeling unwell, along with other members of the first-team squad. This included Edson Alvarez and Emerson Palmieri, who were both missing from the starting line-up.”
