David Moyes has shared an insipid triple injury update but delivered big Danny Ings hope for West Ham United.
West Ham play host to Nottingham Forest at the London Stadium tomorrow in a huge game for both sides.

The Hammers are currently sitting inside the relegation zone in the Premier League table, five points adrift of Nottingham Forest.

Tomorrow’s game is an absolute must-win for West Ham, there is absolutely no doubt about that.
And bearing that in mind, the injury problems that we have to some of our most important players is a really big concern…
David Moyes shares injury update
The Scot was speaking to reporters this afternoon, about the Hammers’ current injury crisis.
We do have a full squad back in training. However, some of them probably won’t be ready for tomorrow’s clash with Forest unfortunately.
Moyes started with a fairly unexciting update on Kurt Zouma, Lucas Paqueta and Maxwel Cornet, as quoted by Football London:

“Kurt Zouma is back in training, Maxi Cornet is back in training, Lucas Paqueta is doing a little bit. I know what I’m going to do and I know we’re not going to tell you.”
Moyes’s Danny Ings update seemed to be more positive though:
“I think Danny Ings is getting fitter now. I think Danny Ings’ reputation speaks for itself. I’m hoping he can reintroduce that here. He’s getting closer to readiness now, he’s settling in.”
I would imagine that Cornet and Paqueta are not quite ready to play, and maybe Zouma as well.
Ings just has to start though in my opinion. Michail Antonio needs five chances to score one goal, whereas Ings has proven throughout his entire career that he is one of the best finishers around.
The David Moyes injury update certainly wasn’t the best, although he may well just be keeping his cards close to his chest.
Let’s hope that at least two of those four players are on the team-sheet tomorrow.
