David Moyes has suggested that West Ham United’s forgotten man could return to the squad for tomorrow’s clash with Everton.
West Ham boss David Moyes desperately needs another win this weekend, in order to prove that our performance against Brentford was no fluke.
When speaking to reporters this afternoon, Moyes admitted that he was concerned about Lucas Paqueta having brought him back from injury against Brentford, but he is ok to face the Toffees.
And the Scot opened up about another player potentially returning to the squad tomorrow. Aaron Cresswell was missing for our clash with Brentford, but it seems as though that was just a precaution.
The 34-year-old has been far from a first-team regular this season but at the very least, he will be another body returning to the squad…

Moyes says forgotten man could return to West Ham squad
The Hammers boss addressed the media today ahead of our clash with Everton this weekend.
And Moyes suggested that Cresswell will be back involved with the squad tomorrow, as quoted by WHUFC.com:
“Aaron Cresswell felt his calf and his Achilles a little bit before the Brentford game, so we didn’t want to take the risk with him, but he’s OK for this weekend.”
Cresswell is West Ham’s forgotten man this season, with just seven appearances to his name in all competitions for a total of 348 minutes (Transfermarkt).
The 34-year-old clearly has his limitations, and he’ll most likely leave the club this summer, but having his experience and know-how around the dressing room between now and the end of the season could prove to be crucial.
Moyes clearly still trusts the experienced West Ham left-back, and who knows, we might just need him for a few games over the next few months.
