David Moyes has made an honest admission about Lucas Paqueta, after the Brazilian returned from injury for West Ham on Monday.
Lucas Paqueta is an absolutely vital player for West Ham, and David Moyes would have been incredibly relieved to have him back in action on Monday night.
The big worry for the Hammers is just how reliant we are on him, and to add insult to injury, the ongoing investigation into potential betting breaches from the Brazilian is allegedly threatening to derail our summer transfer window plans.
However, what matters now is that he performs to his very best between now and the end of the season.
If he does just that, West Ham have every chance of achieving success both domestically and on the continent this season.

David Moyes makes honest Lucas Paqueta admission
The Scot spoke to reporters this afternoon ahead of our huge Premier League clash with Everton tomorrow afternoon.
And Moyes responded when asked to give an update on Paqueta, as quoted by WHUFC.com:
“I was a bit concerned about him coming back from injury, but he was great. We’ve got a busy period coming up, and players like him are going to be very important.”
That worries me a bit, I can’t lie. If Moyes was so worried about the Brazilian on Monday night, why did he start him?
The good news is that the 26-year-old looked very good indeed against the Bees. Now he just needs to maintain his fitness levels for the next three months.
David Moyes is clearly very reliant on Lucas Paqueta. I’m just keeping my fingers crossed that the West Ham boss hasn’t rushed him back to action too early again.
