West Ham central defender Nayef Aguerd is seemingly bulletproof in the eyes of David Moyes.
David Moyes has started Nayef Aguerd in 10 of West Ham United’s 11 Premier League games, and the only match he missed was due to his suspension following his red card against Chelsea.

Aguerd is clearly favoured by Hammers boss Moyes as one of his two best centre-backs, but in fairness to the Scot, he did absolutely hammer the Moroccan after his really poor defending against Brentford last weekend.
Listen, I get how good he is with the ball at his feet, and his range of passing really is very impressive to watch.
However, the 27-year-old gets caught out time and time again by the ball over the top into the channel, and his concentration levels and positional awareness really do leave a lot to be desired.
If Kurt Zouma is passed fit tomorrow, many will probably be expecting for him to come back into the side in place of Konstantinos Mavropanos.
However, I firmly believe that it should be Aguerd who drops out, if Zouma is indeed fit to play…

David Moyes needs to make Nayef Aguerd call
It’s time for the former Rennes centre-back to come out of the team, if we are to kick on and be a really cohesive unit at the back.
It’s clear to see that Zouma and Aguerd are an absolute shambles when they’ve played together as a pair.
So if the Frenchman is ready to play tomorrow, he must be given a chance to start a new partnership with Mavropanos.
Signed for £27 million in the summer of 2022 (The Athletic), the early signs were really good for Aguerd. When he returned from his ankle injury towards the end of last year, he looked like the real deal.
However, the Moroccan has regressed badly, and it now looks like he may well not be suited to Premier League football.
His defending really is comical at times, and he is clearly a target for the opposition in every single game we play.
I think it’s time for Kurt Zouma and Konstantinos Mavropanos to be given a chance to develop a proper understanding with one another, and in order for that to happen, David Moyes has to drop Nayef Aguerd.
However, Zouma obviously has to be passed fit to play tomorrow against Nottingham Forest, to make this possible.
