The 19-year-old has been quite simply brilliant for the Hammers’ youth team since joining from Celtic on a free transfer in the summer.

Okoflex has racked up four goals in five games for the under-23’s and under-21’s (Transfermarkt).

He didn’t look out of place one little bit for the senior side during pre-season either, notably scoring against his former club Celtic at Parkhead.

The teenager plays with real energy and drive. He has something special about him from a technical perspective but he also is an incredibly hard worker.

David Moyes must make bold Armstrong Okoflex decision

The young attacker seems ready to play with the big boys. He would certainly be a useful option for Moyes off the bench.

And he quite simply must play during the cup games and be given some minutes in Europe if the situation allows.

Okoflex has so much to offer. He is certainly more lively than Andriy Yarmolenko and has much greater pace than the Ukrainian.

Sure, the Dublin born 19-year-old has no experience of playing at the very highest level but sometimes that’s a good thing.

He is completely fearless and has such a bright future ahead of him.

We think that Okoflex is ready to play regularly for the senior side. He has all of the attributes needed to make it at the very highest level.
