West Ham were absolutely brilliant last season and ended up finishing in sixth spot in the Premier League table.

Because of that lofty finish, we qualified for Europe. And our Europa League campaign kicks off on Thursday night with a tough looking away trip to Zagreb.

With so many games to play between now and the next international break, Hammers boss David Moyes will have to rotate his team.

The Scot has to be smart with it though. The last thing West Ham need is to get their European campaign off to a losing start.

Zagreb vs West Ham: Two debuts?

Roshane Thomas reckons that Nikola Vlasic, Kurt Zouma and Alphonse Areola are all in line to start against Zagreb on Thursday night.

So that would be two debuts and a first start for Vlasic after his 30 minute cameo against Southampton on Saturday.

Interestingly, Alex Kral was not mentioned.

Moyes may start Tomas Soucek and Declan Rice in the middle of the park but then bring one or both of them off after 60 or 70 minutes.

With the Manchester United game coming just three days later, it will be vital for Moyes to rotate one way or another.

And if Vlasic, Zouma and Areola all start, there will be plenty of excitement from the watching West Ham fans both in the stadium and back home.
