The latest comments from David Moyes will be an absolute killer blow for the West Ham United youngsters.
West Ham have some of the best and most talented youngsters around, including the likes of Divin Mubama, Ollie Scarles, Jamal Baptiste and Armstrong Okoflex.

Hammers boss Moyes has received heavy criticism for his failure to give the club’s young players enough opportunities to shine with the senior team.

The lack of a clear pathway from the youth team to the senior side has seen the likes of Sonny Perkins, Aji Alese and Harrison Ashby all leave the London Stadium over the past year.
And it seems as though that pathway could be even more blocked, with positive results an absolute premium for Moyes at the moment…
David Moyes shares worrying comments for West Ham youngsters
The Hammers are out in Cyprus for our UEFA Europa Conference League clash with AEK Larnaca tomorrow night.
And Moyes responded to reporters when asked whether he plans to give any of the youngsters a chance against the Cypriot club, as quoted by Football.London:

“If you look at the history, we have blooded a lot of young players, like in Bucharest and they did really well, boys against Dinamo Zagreb last year as well. we have tried to give the young boys opportunities in the earlier games. When you get to the knock-out stages you don’t have so many opportunities to recover if the result doesn’t go so well. we have a first team squad of players which we put together knowing we had Europe in mind. Last year we were just a bit short of the level. We now have a squad of players who can compete at this level and hopefully be ready for the Premier League too.”
That must be pretty bleak to hear if you’re one of our young players.
Surely if we get a good result out in Cyprus tomorrow, Moyes will consider giving the likes of Mubama and Scarles some minutes in the return fixture.
Still though, Moyes’s comments will not exactly inspire the club’s young players will they!
