West Ham United hero Callum Wilson admits his time at the club could be drawing to a close.
For the second time this season, Wilson is the man of the moment after scoring a dramatic late winner in a crucial game for West Ham United as they battle against relegation.
Indeed, Wilson proved to be West Ham’s match-winner against Everton by bagging a late goal at the London Stadium, just as he had done at Tottenham back in January.
DISCUSS: Callum Wilson is NOT a starter for West Ham even despite his late goal vs Everton 👀
There are few better players to bring off the bench when looking for a goal than the former Newcastle United forward. Over the course of his career, the 34-year-old has scored 94 Premier League goals.
Still, Wilson is understandably frustrated about his bit-part role at West Ham, and the striker himself admits he could leave this summer.
Wilson admits he’s potentially playing his last few games for West Ham
Speaking to West Ham United TV after the Everton game, Wilson said: “It was fantastic, like I say, to see it [his goal] go in, to share that moment with the fans. Like I say, it’s the last few games of the season, for the club potentially, so yeah it was fantastic.”
That is particularly interesting given reports back in March claimed that Wilson had agreed a one-year contract at West Ham.
How will the Premier League table look when it’s all said and done? 🤔
West Ham are in a precarious position with 4 games to go! 😬
Hammers News then brought its readers and subscribers on TalkingPoints the news that West Ham were coy about Wilson’s long-term future.
The veteran forward is currently out of contract at the end of the season and was strongly linked with a move away from the club in January.

It certainly seems as if Wilson’s time here in east London will be a fleeting one, but it could yet be successful.
Supporters may well have been underwhelmed when he first arrived at the club but he has made a telling impact on their survival bid thus far.
If West Ham really are going to stay up this season, Wilson has and could continue to play a key role for the club.
