West Ham vice-chair Karren Brady made a bold prediction about Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou and it’s been proved right to the detriment of her own manager.
When David Moyes’ future was uncertain last year West Ham were heavily linked with now Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou.
West Ham vice-chair Karren Brady appeared to make it very clear who she thought should replace Moyes should he depart.
Brady wrote a gushing column about Postecoglou and the job he had done at Celtic.
And Brady predicted his unique style would be a massive hit in the Premier League.
Hammers chief Brady made bold prediction about Postecoglou
Many saw that as a hint West Ham might part company with Moyes to bring in Postecoglou.
But the Australian boss joined rivals Tottenham instead.
Fast forward a year and speculation is once again rife that the Hammers will part company with their manager when his contract expires.
Postecoglou is widely regarded to have done a fine job in a short space of time at Tottenham thus far.
He has completely revamped their style of play while getting them challenging for the Champions League spots.

Awards for style over substance now as Spurs boss scoops honour
At West Ham there are misgivings over Moyes’ approach and style – which is arguably the polar opposite to Postecoglou’s at Tottenham.
Well now an award for Spurs boss Postecoglou proves West Ham chief Brady right but it’s an insult to her own manager.
Because last night Postecoglou was named Manager of the Year at the prestigious London Football Awards.
That’s despite him only being at Tottenham for seven months and overseeing yet another trophyless season while Moyes led the Hammers to their first silverware for 43 years back in June.
The Scot has also led West Ham into the Europa League knockout stages yet again.
Moyes snub proves Brady right but is an insult
All while being just three places below Spurs and in contention for a fourth consecutive season qualifying for Europe.
Postecoglou has done a remarkable job in completely reinventing the way Tottenham play.
But it’s ludicrous that he has won this award ahead of Moyes. After all he is the manager of the only London club to win a trophy since Chelsea in 2021.
Even looking past Moyes, Mikel Arteta has Arsenal consistently in the title race. And Emma Hayes won the double with Chelsea women.
Meanwhile a journalist has claimed Spurs have given West Ham owner David Sullivan a big problem over Moyes’ successor.
