Arsenal are ready to offer Declan Rice a huge contract in order to tempt the West Ham ace into joining them this summer.
According to a report from The Daily Star, Arsenal are confident of winning the race to sign Declan Rice this summer.

It is claimed that the Gunners are ready to quadruple the 24-year-old’s current £60k-a-week wages in order to bring him to the Emirates. That would make the 41-capped England international the 17th highest paid player in the Premier League, alongside Manchester United ace Bruno Fernandes (Spotrac).

And if the north London club really are putting £240k-a-week on the table for Dec, his mind may well already be made up…
Arsenal plan huge contract offer for West Ham ace Declan Rice
The Daily Star reckon that the Gunners are clear front-runners for Dec’s signature ahead of the summer transfer window.
Rice’s current contract at the London Stadium expires in the summer of 2024, but West Ham have the option to extend that deal by a further 12 months.
So in essence, this summer represents our best chance to get maximum value for the 24-year-old, and I would be absolutely shocked if we didn’t cash in on him.

I’m sure that the Hammers owners will make one final contract offer to Dec, but if he refuses, it wouldn’t make any sense to keep him.
What will be vitally important for West Ham will be to get the correct replacement in. Rice is so good that we will probably need to sign two central midfielders in order to make a seamless transition after his exit.
I believe that Declan Rice will probably join Arsenal this summer. That will be a bitter pill to swallow but we all have to start moving on as a club immediately after our final game of the season.
If our scouting, planning and recruitment is spot on, there is no reason why we can’t become a better team all-round after Dec leaves.
