Fulham star Andreas Pereira has taken a big swipe at West Ham defender Craig Dawson after our 3-1 win on Sunday afternoon.

The Hammers earned a vital three points against the Cottagers at the London Stadium yesterday, and we are now sitting in 13th spot in the table.

Fulham felt aggrieved after the game, however, with some 50/50 calls going the way of West Ham.

One of the dubious calls, according to Fulham fans, was the penalty awarded to West Ham midway through the first-half.

Jarrod Bowen stepped up and scored the spot-kick, before Gianluca Scamacca and Michail Antonio wrapped up the points for the Hammers.

Three points is all that matters to us, and I really don’t care how we get them at this stage of the season.

We’ve had plenty of calls go against us this term after all, so we were due the rub of the green.

Andreas Pereira rips into Craig Dawson

The Brazilian was speaking to the media after Fulham’s defeat to the Hammers, and he let rip at Dawson for the West Ham ace’s actions that led to our penalty, as quoted via Yahoo Esportes:

He [referee] told me not to pull, not to have contact with [the opponent’s] shirt, and I said I was just getting in front of him, blocking, I wasn’t doing anything too much. The first time, he ran into me, and I didn’t say anything, I didn’t complain. In the second, and in the third, he sought contact and I stood firm, and he decided to give the penalty. If a guy is 90kg, I’m 70kg, he’ll run into me and fall to the ground like a girl… It’s hard to talk.

This just sounds like sour grapes to me.

We can understand Fulham fans complaining about the Scamacca and Antonio goals. They both could have been ruled out on another day.

The penalty call was spot on though in my opinion. Andreas Pereira brought down Craig Dawson inside the box. It really was that simple.

And as I mentioned earlier, we have been due some luck for quite some time now.
