Tottenham Hotspur have seemingly beat West Ham United to the signing of Manor Solomon.

According to BBC Sport, Tottenham have reached an agreement to sign the 23-year-old winger from Shakhtar Donetsk, beating West Ham to his signature in the process.

All that remains is for Solomon to complete a medical before he joins Spurs on a free transfer.

It seems as though the Hammers were in race to sign the former Fulham winger as well though.

West Ham boss David Moyes wants to bolster his attacking ranks at the London Stadium this summer, so it’s no surprise that he might have wanted Solomon, after his impressive performances last season.

Unfortunately for the Scot though, the Israeli ace will be north London bound soon…

Solomon’s agent Shlomi Ben Ezra has been speaking to Sport5 about his client’s impending move to Tottenham this summer.

And he highlighted how there were more than one Premier League club in the race for the Israel international’s signature:

“In addition to Tottenham, Aston Villa, West Ham, and RB Leipzig wanted him.”

Solomon can play on the left or right wing or in the number 10 position. He bagged five goals in 24 games for Fulham last season (Transfermarkt).

He possesses skill and pace in abundance and is a very hard worker indeed.

It’s a real shame that Tottenham have beaten West Ham to the signing of Manor Solomon. I’m sure he’ll do really well there.
