As the first-half drew to a close, AEK Larnaca were reduced to 10 men after a horror tackle from Gustavo on Pablo Fornals.
He was correctly shown a red-card but for some reason, Fornals was seen pleading with the referee not to give his opponent his marching orders.
Seriously, what on earth was that all about?

Joe Cole even alluded to it during the half-time break. At this level of football, there is no room for Mr nice guys. You have to be ruthless – a killer if you will.
