Nayef Aguerd was absolutely superb once again for West Ham United against Nottingham Forest this afternoon.
The 26-year-old West Ham defender is an absolute Rolls Royce of a player and we are so much of a better team when he plays.

Danny Ings obviously stole the show with his two goals, and then Declan Rice scored an absolutely worldy towards the end of the game.
And because of that, Aguerd probably won’t get the praise that he so rightly deserves.
The Moroccan was signed from Rennes for around £30 million in the summer transfer window (Sky Sports). His Hammers career has been blighted by injuries so far, but since he came back into the team, he has been absolutely sensational.

The Morocco international is such a calming presence at the back for us and his incredible pace enables us to push higher up the pitch without the fear of getting caught in behind.
Aguerd is superb when in possession of the football as well.
The ex-Rennes star had 42 touches of the football, made two interceptions and four clearances against Forest this afternoon. He also won two aerial duels (Who Scored).
Aguerd registered a pass completion rate of 80% from 34 attempted passes (Who Scored).
He kept the Forest attackers quiet all game and proved once again just how vital he is to this West Ham United team.
The £30 million that David Moyes spent on Aguerd now looks like an absolute steal.
Aguerd was an absolute rock for West Ham against Nottingham Forest this afternoon. Let’s just hope that he remains fit between now and the end of the season.
