Manuel Lanzini and Angelo Ogbonna quite simply have to start every Premier League game for West Ham between now and the end of the season.
West Ham duo Manuel Lanzini and Angelo Ogbonna have played peripheral roles for the Hammers this season.

However, the Italian and the Argentine were handed starts last night for West Ham against Gent in the Europa Conference League.
Despite the awful performance from the Hammers in general, Ogbonna and Lanzini put in respectful displays.

And David Moyes has to use them more regularly between now and the end of the season…
£16 million duo must play every Premier League game for West Ham after displays vs Gent
The two experienced Hammers players were the best performers on the night for us.
The fact that Ogbonna and Lanzini have played only 949 Premier League minutes combined this season is quite simply ridiculous.
Both signed for £8 million in 2015 and 2016 respectively (Daily Mail and ESPN), Ogbonna and Lanzini are the Hammers’ joint second most long serving players.
The 30-year-old midfielder actually joined West Ham on loan in 2015, and has been a fan favourite ever since. The same can be said for Oggy – he’s hugely popular in East London.
Whenever the 34-year-old plays, the Hammers look so much more solid at the back. He’s a real leader, a great organiser and one of the few players we have who deploys the ‘dark arts’.
Meanwhile, Lanzini is one of the best players we have at the club when it comes to ball retention. It absolutely baffles me that we have really struggled to keep the ball this season, yet Moyes still refuses to start Lanzini in the league.

The Argentine moved around the pitch gracefully last night, accepted the ball from his teammates in tight areas under pressure and gave us so much control.
When Moyes took him off around the 60 minute mark, the Hammers immediately ceded control and Gent should have really gone on to win the game.
West Ham have some great players but the simple fact of the matter is that not many of them have turned up this season, especially the new signings.
Hammers boss David Moyes would be better served by trusting some of the old school in the Premier League for the remainder of the campaign.
And Lanzini and Ogbonna proved for West Ham vs Gent that they both still have so much to give for this club.
