Tomas Soucek is not good enough to play Premier League football anymore and his performance for West Ham vs Arsenal was further evidence of that.
West Ham played host to Arsenal at the London Stadium this afternoon and Tomas Soucek was named in the starting lineup once again.

David Moyes really does boggle the mind sometimes with his team selections.
Starting the 28-year-old Czech Republic international was one of his most bizarre decisions of the season – and there has been plenty of them!
Arsenal deploy one of the most aggressive presses in the Premier League, so starting Soucek was just asking for trouble in my opinion…
Tomas Soucek was awful for West Ham vs Arsenal
The Czech midfielder is one of the worst players in possession in the Premier League.
He is a terrible passer of the football and has averaged just 72.6% completion rate this season (Who Scored).
The former Slavia Prague man just wasn’t at the races today and couldn’t get near any of the Gunners midfielders.
Soucek was cumbersome in the way that he got around the pitch today and offered absolutely nothing. He’s clearly lacking confidence and as a result he didn’t show for the ball once.
That in turn put more pressure on his teammates. It was actually like playing with 10 men at times.
David Moyes signed Soucek for £15 million in the summer of 2020 (Daily Mail), after he spent the previous few months on loan at the London Stadium.
Initially, it looked like a really good deal for the Hammers but the Czech midfielder has regressed badly over the past 18 months. He’s just not good enough to be playing elite level football anymore in my opinion.
And his performance for West Ham vs Arsenal today really hammered that home.
