He turned on the style tonight, however.

The 31-year-old played an instrumental role in West Ham’s opening goal against Rapid Vienna.
The Ukraine international cut inside onto his left foot and floated a wonderful ball into Michail Antonio who then found Declan Rice who subsequently slotted home.

The Hammers attacker has been under-fire for quite some time now after a succession of lacklustre displays.
David Moyes gave him a chance to prove himself tonight, however. And Yarmolenko didn’t let the Scot down.
The little bit of magic that he produced inside the first half was so typical of the experienced Ukrainian.
