West Ham fans react to Manuel Lanzini performance vs Genk in Europa League Group H clash

West Ham fans have take to Twitter to praise Manuel Lanzini after his performance against Genk in the Europa League Group H clash tonight.

The diminutive Argentinian ace joined the Hammers on a permanent deal from Al-Jazira in the summer of 2016 for around £9 million (Daily Mail) having impressed during a loan spell in East London the season before.

He was an instant hit at West Ham but an injury back in the summer of 2018 completely derailed his career.

It seems as though Manu could be back to somewhere near his best now though.

Lanzini was superb for West Ham tonight against Genk.

He was sensational when in possession but put in a real shift as well – a prerequisite for anyone who plays under David Moyes.

Lanzini was the architect of our equaliser tonight. He played Vladimir Coufal in with a beautiful slide rule pass before the Czech ace found Said Benrahma to slot home.

The 28-year-old South American clearly still has a lot to offer and could play a key role for us this season.

His display tonight certainly proved a lot to the Hammers fans and more importantly, David Moyes.
