West Ham fans took to Twitter in reaction to the performance of Craig Dawson away at Arsenal tonight.
The Hammers were under the cosh for the entire first 45 minutes against Arsenal.

Dawson stood strong though.
The 31-year-old has a hardcore cult following at the London Stadium. He also has his critics, however. You can’t please everyone eh?

What cannot be disputed is how much Dawson puts on the line each and every time he takes to the pitch for West Ham.
The former West Brom and Watford man gives 100 per cent every single time he is selected by David Moyes. And that was no different tonight against the Gunners.
Dawson won everything in the air, made a couple of crucial tackles and one incredible block just before half-time from a Gabriel Martinelli shot.

The 31-year-old really doesn’t get the credit that he deserves. He has barely put a foot wrong since joining West Ham.
Sure, he isn’t the best with the ball at his feet but he more than makes up for that with his desire, commitment and aerial ability.
