Declan Rice posted a video to his Instagram account yesterday showing the West Ham players celebrating in the dressing room after beating Aston Villa 4-1 at Villa Park.

The Hammers earned a vital three points against Villa yesterday with an emphatic 4-1 win.

It actually wasn’t our best performance of the season but we did a lot of things right.

David Moyes has his team so well organised and defensively well-drilled meaning that we are always competitive regardless of how well we actually play.

And what a turnaround that is for West Ham.

For too many years we have been far too flakey – an easy touch for the opposition.

A key factor behind the Hammers’ recent rise to prominence over the past 18 months or so has been the feel good factor at the London Stadium.

Each and every player in the squad is incredibly close with one and other. The team spirit galvanised by David Moyes Moyes really is quite incredible.

Rice posted a video last night that proves just how good the atmosphere is at West Ham behind the scenes at the moment:

How good is that to watch!

This West Ham squad is a one-off. We haven’t seen a close bond between the players like this for decades.

It also highlights why Moyes brought Kurt Zouma to the London Stadium. Not only is the Frenchman a world-class centre-back but he is also clearly a real character in the dressing room as well.

Let’s hope that we can keep up this form between now and the end of the season. Because if we do, truly anything is possible.
