David Moyes has suggested that every forward in world football would want to play with West Ham ace Lucas Paqueta.

The Hammers beat Fulham this afternoon 3-1, and Paqueta played a key role for his team, providing the assist for Gianluca Scamacca to put us 2-1 up.

The 25-year-old Brazilian is hugely talented, and Moyes has already compared him to the brilliant Dimitri Payet.

Paqueta joined West Ham from Lyon in the summer transfer window for around £51 million (Sky Sports).

He has been a regular for the Hammers since that move and he is already a real fan favourite at the London Stadium.

The South American bagged his first assist for West Ham in midweek against Anderlecht, and he was at it once again today against Fulham.

David Moyes raves about West Ham ace Lucas Paqueta

Our Brazilian magician produced the goods when it mattered most against Fulham this afternoon.

Paqueta slipped Scamacca through and the Italian buried his chance, just like he did against Anderlecht on Thursday night.

David Moyes spoke to reporters after the match today, and offered high words of praise for the West Ham play-maker, as quoted by Football.London:

If you are any centre forward, you are going to want to play with Paqueta. I thought today Paqueta did some things that were brilliant.

The challenge now for Paqueta will be not only to keep providing assists between now and the end of the season on a consistent basis, but to chips in with some goals as well.

The 25-year-old is clearly a hugely exciting talent, and his blossoming relationship with Scamacca has been a pleasure to watch unfold.

The really exciting thing is that Paqueta can undoubtedly get even better as well.

David Moyes choosing to praise the West Ham star after the game today should give him plenty of confidence to go on and establish himself as one of the Premier League’s best players.

We love Paqueta, and Moyes clearly does as well.
