His goal against Villa today capped another fantastic display for the young Hammers star.
Ben Johnson shares Michail Antonio advice that led to goal vs Aston Villa
The 21-year-old right-back’s stunning strike early on today really did come out of the blue.
Or did it?
It seems as though Johnson’s left-footed strike has been in the making for some time.
Johnson told Sky Sports (Sunday October 31st, 6:52pm) how some advice given to him by Michail Antonio helped him make the decision to take on the strike:

“You know what, the other day in the game against City, Mick said use your left foot and come inside, he said that to me at half-time. I tried it in the game against City and I tried it again today, the space opened up for me. I just tried to place it and be relaxed as possible and it went in.”
Thank God Micky gave Johnson that advice! It certainly paid off this afternoon.
The 21-year-old has now made the right-back position his own and Coufal has his work cut-out to force his way back into the side.
