A win would take the Hammers back to the top of the table, and David Moyes will be desperate for his side to get three points on the board before the international break.

Luton will represent a really tough test for West Ham tonight, but we should have more than enough to win the match, especially with our exciting new signings.
And one of them may well be used in a new position…

Moyes brought Konstantinos Mavropanos to the London Stadium from Stuttgart earlier on in the window.
And judging by the West Ham Twitter account, the Greek ace may well be set to start at right-back against Luton tonight:
We can see from those drills above that Mavropanos is operating as an overlapping right-back, just like Aaron Cresswell is on the opposite side.
This could mean that Moyes is planning to bring Nayef Aguerd back into the team to partner Kurt Zouma, with the 25-year-old Greece international being lined up to replace Vladimir Coufal.
Or, Moyes could play with three centre-backs, with Mavropanos being on the right side of Zouma and Aguerd, or even Angelo Ogbonna.
The beauty of this is that West Ham clearly have much more variation and unpredictability to our setup, and that can only be a good thing ahead of the Luton game.
