David Moyes is in desperate need of a win against the Villans today. His team have lost their opening three Premier League games of the season.

West Ham have won twice in Europe, however, and hopefully our victory in Viborg on Thursday night instilled some real confidence into the players.

Aston Villa, meanwhile, have been struggling as well so far this season.

Steven Gerrard’s side have picked up just three points from their opening three league outings. So it’s clear to see just how vital this game is for both sides this afternoon…

West Ham starting lineup vs Aston Villa

David Moyes has made five changes from the team that beat Viborg and three changes from the Brighton defeat.

In come Lukasz Fabianski, Kurt Zouma, Declan Rice, Jarrod Bowen and Emerson in place of Alphonse Areola, Angelo Ogbonna, Maxwel Cornet, Manuel Lanzini and Said Benrahma.

The three changes from Brighton sees Ben Johnson, Emerson and Gianluca Scamacca replace Vladimir Coufal, Said Benrahma and Michail Antonio.

Villa will be well up for this one today in front of their own fans.

So it will tough for the Hammers to leave the West Midlands with all three points.

One thing’s for sure, the players need to be 100% on it today and much better than they have been during the first three Premier League games.

Moyes has freshened up the starting XI, just like we wanted him to do.

We strongly believe that the West Ham starting lineup vs Aston Villa has more than enough quality to get the job done though.

We’re going for a 3-1 win for the Hammers. COYI X
