West Ham starting lineup vs Anderlecht:

Alphonse Areola, Emerson, Aaron Cresswell, Angelo Ogbonna, Ben Johnson, Vladimir Coufal, Flynn Downes, Manuel Lanzini, Jarrod Bowen, Lucas Paqueta, Said Benrahma

West Ham play host to Anderlecht tonight in match-week four of the UEFA Europa Conference League.

The Hammers beat Anderlecht 1-0 in the reverse fixture out in Belgium last week and a win tonight would all but guarantee that we win the group.

That would be an exceptional achievement, considering how inexperienced many of our players still are on the European scene.

West Ham beat FCSB on match-week one before earning a 3-2 win away at Silkeborg. Then we beat Anderlecht last week.

Despite out struggles in the Premier League this season, we have looked very comfortable indeed on the continent.

And that’s a very encouraging thing in my opinion.

Winning the group could be priceless for West Ham as it would enable David Moyes to rest key players for our final two group games.

West Ham starting lineup vs Anderlecht confirmed

Moyes has made eight changes form the team that beat Fulham on Sunday, as confirmed by UEFA’s official website.

In come Areola, Ogbonna, Emerson, Coufal, Johnson, Downes, Benrahma, Lanzini and in place of Lukasz Fabianski, Kurt Zouma, Craig Dawson, Thilo Kehrer, Declan Rice, Tomas Soucek, Gianluca Scamacca and Pablo Fornals.

That team is more than strong enough to get the job done tonight.

The result is obviously the most important thing, but it would be great to see an exciting, dynamic and cohesive performance from the West Ham players tonight.

We just haven’t seen enough of that so far this season.

The West Ham starting lineup vs Anderlecht selected by David Moyes should have more than enough to beat the Belgians.

And we’re going for a comfortable 3-0 win.
