With the Queen’s funeral scheduled on Monday, it was expected that the Premier League games would once again be postponed.

Seven of the 10 matches are now set to go ahead though, including the Hammers’ visit to Goodison Park.

That’s great as far as we’re concerned.

It will be vital for West Ham to get back on track as soon as possible with three points against Everton.

The Toffees are in desperate need of a win as well, with Frank Lampard’s side currently level on points with the Hammers.

Sunday’s game will be a great chance for both teams to kickstart their respective 2022/23 campaigns.

Thankfully, the game will now go ahead, as per a statement from the Premier League and subsequently, Everton Football Club:

That really is great news.

It’s a chance for the West Ham and Everton fans to give the Queen the send-off that she so rightly deserves.

The Everton vs West Ham clash will now kick-off at 2:15pm and can be seen live and exclusive on Sky Sports.
