Thilo Kehrer posts heartwarming message on Instagram after the Queen’s death

West Ham ace Thilo Kehrer has taken to his official Instagram account to pay his respects after the Queen’s death.

The Hammers played against FCSB in the Europa League last night immediately after news broke of Her Majesty’s passing, and won the game 3-1.

The mood inside the London Stadium was understandably sombre after the Queen passed away peacefully at Balmoral.

In tribute to the Queen though, the Hammers players roared back to victory with an outstanding second-half display against FCSB.

West Ham were scheduled to play host to Newcastle at the London Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

However, following the sad passing of Queen Elizabeth II last night, all Premier League games have now been called off as a mark of respect.

And one West Ham player in particular has paid his respects to Queen Elizabeth II…

The German arrived at the London Stadium from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window.

He has already established himself as a fan favourite at West Ham.

And the Hammers fans will love him even more now.

Kehrer took to his Instagram account to pay his respects after the Queen’s death last night:

Good on you Thilo.

This is an incredibly sad time for the English people, and the Queen’s death seems to have stopped everyone in their tracks.

The kinds words from one of our new additions has not gone unnoticed.
