Antonio Conte names three Tottenham stars who definitely won't play against West Ham

Antonio Conte has provided an injury update ahead of the huge Tottenham vs West Ham clash tomorrow evening.

Tomorrow’s game between Tottenham and West Ham is an absolutely vital one for both sides, with the race for the top four still very much alive.

The Hammers currently sit in sixth spot in the Premier League table ahead of seventh placed Spurs only because of a superior goal difference.

Conte’s men have played a game less than us though, so we absolutely cannot afford to lose at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tomorrow.

It might be a struggle for us considering the fact that the West Ham players put in so much effort for 120 minutes during our incredible 2-0 win over Sevilla on Thursday night.

The Hammers will be without some key players as well with Jarrod Bowen and Angelo Ogbonna both set to miss out.

David Moyes has a really hard-working, fit group of players under his wing at the London Stadium though. And Spurs would do well not to underestimate us, especially considering the fact that they have some injury concerns of their own…

Conte provides injury update ahead of Tottenham vs West Ham

The Italian has a few selection headaches ahead of the game against the Hammers tomorrow.

Conte spoke to reporters yesterday and name-checked three Tottenham players who will not feature against West Ham, as quoted by Football.London:

“For Japh (Tanganga), the medical department tried until the end to find the solution but I think in the end it was the best solution for Japh and the doctors to have this surgery to clean his knee. He’ll be ready next season. About Skippy, I hope to have him after the international break. His pain is getting better and better. About Ryan, we’re waiting four weeks to have another scan and then if everything is OK he’ll restart training sessions with us.”

Tottenham do have a big squad, so Conte will be able to rotate his options without losing out from a quality perspective.

Skipp and Tanganga grave been good this season though, whilst Sessegnon has started to show signs that he could be close to returning to his best.

So having the Spurs trio unavailable will certainly not be ideal for Conte.

In truth, we’re not expecting too much from the game against Tottenham. We got the result we needed in the game that really mattered on Thursday night and any kind of positive result against Spurs will be a big bonus as far as we’re concerned.
