Major Lucas Paqueta injury update

West Ham United ace Lucas Paqueta has taken to his official Instagram account to provide an update on the injury he suffered last night.

Lucas Paqueta suffered an injury in the warm-up ahead of our clash with Arsenal last night, but he still started the match for West Ham.

The Brazilian was then forced off after 33 minutes and replaced by Said Benrahma, and Hammers boss David Moyes would have been fearing the worst.

The 26-year-old has been truly sensational for West Ham so far this season, and Moyes recently outlined just how impressed he has been by his performances.

With that in mind, having him unavailable for for a prolonged period of time would be an absolute disaster, especially with Mohammed Kudus set to jet off to AFCON with Ghana next month.

So how long will Paqueta be out injured for? The player himself provided an update today on his Instagram account…

Major Lucas Paqueta injury update

The former Lyon star posted a picture on his official Instagram account today.

And he provided an exact time when he will be back and available to play for the Hammers:

If that is indeed the case, it’s a huge boost for the Hammers.

Paqueta will then miss only the Brighton game on Tuesday, and will be back and available for our FA Cup clash with Bristol City on January 7th.

The South American star is a truly stunning player, and is vital to absolutely everything good that we do.

Lucas Paqueta should be back and available for selection for West Ham very soon indeed, and if he does miss only one game, it will be a great outcome for us.
