Tomas Soucek should be back and available for selection for West Ham United’s trip to Silkeborg on Thursday night.
That’s according to club insiders Claret and Hugh who claim that Soucek would have missed the game against Newcastle today, had it gone ahead.

The 27-year-old suffered a leg injury during our 2-1 defeat to Chelsea last weekend.
Soucek made a really poor start to the season for West Ham but seemed to return to form with good performances against Tottenham and Chelsea respectively.

The Czech Republic international seemed to be more like his old self, especially with his goal against Tottenham. So losing him for a few games would have been a big blow.
It seems as though there’s some good news to digest for Hammers fans though…
West Ham handed big injury boost ahead of Silkeborg clash
Claret and Hugh reckon that Soucek will be available for selection for our Europa League clash with Silkeborg on Thursday night.
The 27-year-old has proven over the last two games that he is still a very important player for the Hammers.
And the great thing now is that he seemingly has some really strong competition for his place in the form of Flynn Downes.

The 23-year-old put in a brilliant performance against FCSB on Thursday night and he should be pushing Soucek really hard for his place in the team.
The thing is, West Ham will need the Czech’s experience of playing European football away at Silkeborg on Thursday night.
Having the 27-year-old available for selection will be a big boost for David Moyes.
A win against the Danes would put us in a very strong position in the group with four games to go. And our chances of doing that will increase if Soucek plays in my opinion.
