An encouraging Nayef Aguerd injury update has been provided by Evening Standard journalist Nizaar Kinsella.
The 26-year-old West Ham centre-back left the field in tears after an injury last night during Morocco’s incredible World Cup win over Spain out in Qatar.
The 26-year-old centre-back joined the Hammers from French side Rennes in the summer for around £30 million (Sky Sports).

Unfortunately for him, his West Ham career is still yet to take off, having suffered an ankle injury during a pre-season clash with Rangers in July.
He made his comeback just before the break for the World Cup and looked like he would be a fantastic player for us. His performances for Morocco at the World Cup out in Qatar have been exceptional as well.
So the injury that he suffered last night obviously would have worried him, David Moyes and everyone close to the London Stadium.
It seems like he may have been lucky though…

We all need to keep everything crossed that the Moroccan is fine and ready to go again when Premier League football resumes on Boxing Day.
The Nayef Aguerd injury update from Nizaar Kinsella is a really exciting one.
It remains to be seen whether the 26-year-old will play again for Morocco at the World Cup though.
