Vladimir Coufal will allegedly be available for the West Ham vs Everton clash after the international break.

That’s according to high-level insiders Claret and Hugh who claim that the 29-year-old is close to making a full recovery from a groin injury.

Coufal has struggled with a troublesome groin after he collided with Nemanja Matic at Old Trafford during our Carabao Cup clash with Manchester United.

Since then, Ben Johnson has cemented his place in the side but it must be said, we do miss Coufal’s excellent delivery into the box down the right hand side.

So having him back and available for selection can only be a good thing.

The Hammers have two weeks off now until we play again when we welcome Everton to the London Stadium. David Moyes will be desperate for his side to get back to winning ways and it seems as though there could be a big fitness boost in store for us.

West Ham vs Everton: Coufal set to return

Claret and Hugh claims that the Czech Republic international will be available for selection for our clash with the Toffees on April 3rd.

It its suggested that he likely will begin the game from the bench though.

Ben Johnson has really impressed at right-back during Coufal’s absence. So the 29-year-old will have his work cut-out if he is to force his way back into David Moyes’s side.

Johnson, 22, does need to learn how to cross the ball into the box though and the Czech ace should be a great mentor for him in that regard.

Coufal will undoubtedly play a big part for West Ham between now and the end of the season. Having him back and available for the Everton game will be a very big boost for Moyes.

And the 29-year-old returning from injury will keep Johnson on his toes as well.
