The Hammers players will be buoyed by their win over Wolves at the London Stadium on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Saints have been in fine form and haven’t lost since mid January. They have won four and drawn two of their last six Premier League games.

Tonight’s game should be a cracker with both teams desperate for some silverware.

West Ham haven’t progressed past the quarter-finals of the FA Cup since we last played in the final way back in 2006 whilst Southampton reached the semi-finals in 2021 and 2018.

West Ham have won the competition three times in 1964, 1975 and 1980 and Southampton have been victorious once way back in 1976.

We should be in for a real treat at St Mary’s tonight.

Meanwhile, David Moyes has performed absolute miracles at the London Stadium and has established West Ham as a genuine top six Premier League side.

West Ham starting lineup vs Southampton

David Moyes has opted for a strong side once again, despite having made a couple of changes.

Alphonse Areola and Issa Diop come in for Lukasz Fabianski and Aaron Cresswell.

It seems as though Pablo Fornals could be set to play in the left wing-back role again with Moyes opting for a 5-2-3 system or a 3-4-3.

A win tonight will be absolutely vital for squad morale as we head into what is an incredibly hectic run of fixtures.
