West Ham starting lineup vs Liverpool confirmed as the Hammers look to make it through to the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup.

Liverpool play host to West Ham United at Anfield in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup this evening, and David Moyes has made plenty of changes to his starting lineup.

The Reds will represent a really tough challenge for us tonight, but they are without up to eight key players.

The Hammers boss has really turned things around at the London Stadium, and back-to-back wins against Freiburg and Wolves respectively have completely changed the atmosphere at the club.

The Scot guided us to our first major trophy in 43 years last season, but his team have been poor this season on the whole.

That said, we’ve got results at the right times, and find ourselves in a very strong position as we head towards the halfway point of the season.

Tonight’s clash with Liverpool is a huge one for the club. We haven’t been in a League Cup semi-final since 2011, and haven’t won a domestic trophy since 1980!

So what team has Moyes gone with tonight?

West Ham starting lineup vs Liverpool

The Scot has made six changes from the team that beat Wolves in the Premier League on Sunday.

Alphonse Areola, Konstantinos Mavropanos, Angelo Ogbonna, Ben Johnson, Said Benrahma and Pablo Fornals all come into the side in place of Lukasz Fabianski, Kurt Zouma, Nayef Aguerd, Emerson Palmieri,. James Ward-Prowse and Lucas Paqueta, as confirmed via the club’s official Twitter account.

What a night this could be at Anfield for us. It will be a tough game, that goes without saying, but if the boys play like they did the last two games, they’re a match for any side.

Listen, every single player will have to 100% be on it tonight, if we’re to leave Merseyside victorious.

Liverpool are not infallible though, and they have been far from imperious this season. Who knows what will happen tonight? It’s a cup game and literally anything can happen on the night.

I have a sneaky feeling that we might just nick this one 2-1. COYI X
