David Moyes has named his starting line-up for West Ham United’s Carabao Cup fourth round clash against Manchester City at the London Stadium.
West Ham take on the daunting task of Manchester City as a dubious reward for beating Manchester United at Old Trafford in the last round.
Pep Guardiola’s Man City are the competition’s kings. The Blues have won the cup four years in a row so Moyes and his high-flying Hammers are up against it at a sell-out 60,000 London Stadium.

Both Moyes and Guardiola were tipped to make sweeping changes to their starting line-ups for the game.
Moyes has been very careful with his team selection as he juggles West Ham’s Premier League, Europa League and Carabao Cup fixtures.
And so far the Scot has managed the situation masterfully.

West Ham have been making wholesale changes between their Premier League and Europa/Carabao sides so far this season.
But it is a testament to the quality within the squad that there has not been a huge drop-off in West Ham’s levels.
That is evidenced by the fact the Hammers are flying high at the top of their Europa League group with a perfect three wins from three and are through to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup having beaten Man United at Old Trafford.
West Ham face a trip to Aston Villa this coming Sunday and Moyes will be keen to consolidate the club’s place in the Premier League’s top four as the season passes the quarter-way stage.
And that will be in the back of his mind as he plots his side to take on Man City.

Confirmed West Ham starting line-up to face Man City in Carabao Cup as David Moyes makes multiple changes
Moyes has now named his side to take on Man City with eight changes to the team from the side that started the win over Tottenham at the weekend.

Areola, Johnson, Diop, Dawson, Cresswell, Noble, Soucek, Lanzini, Masuaku, Vlasic, Yarmolenko.
Subs: Randolph, Ashby, Baptiste, Coufal, Zouma, Chesters, Fornals, Benrahma, Bowen.
It has often been stated that Guardiola sees the Carabao Cup as a trophy Man City can get won early doors in the season.
Let’s hope West Ham put an end to that tonight.
