West Ham United co-owner David Sullivan could well be set to play the long game with transfers this summer.
It has been claimed that West Ham will target bargain basements deals this summer, with funds tight at the London Stadium.
However, that doesn’t mean that there aren’t some seriously exciting players on Graham Potter‘s radar.
David Sullivan has backed his managers to the hilt in all fairness to him over the past few years.

It seems like Potter will have to be frugal in his summer recruitment though.

The Hammers head coach is said to be plotting a big summer rebuild at the London Stadium.
With so many new additions required, and limited money available, it’s no surprise that West Ham might be targeting a few freebies.
And two of them in particular are truly spacial players.
West Ham eyeing Angel Gomes and Jonathan David free transfers
The Hammers are said to be in for Angel Gomes and Jonathan David this summer.
The Lille duo will be out of contract with the Ligue 1 outfit in just a few month’s time.
Gomes has been on the Hammers’ radar for quite some time now, and he recently switched representatives to join ROOF – an agency that also look after Hammers duo Mohammed Kudus and Niclas Fullkrug.
The 24-year-old midfielder is technically brilliant and has energy and dynamism in abundance.
Gomes would transform West Ham’s midfield overnight.

Meanwhile, David is exactly the type of striker the Hammers need in order to reach the next level.
David has bagged an impressive 20 goals and nine assists in 36 games for Lille so far this season (Transfermarkt).
The 25-year-old possesses blistering pace, incredible movement and he knows exactly how to stretch the opposition’s defence.
If West Ham manage to get a double deal over the line for Angel Gomes and Jonathan David, it would be truly unbelievable business for the club.
It’s not an exaggeration to suggest that the Hammers could sell both of them on for £100 million combined within a couple of years, and most likely a lot more than that.
