Unbelievably, £30 million West Ham United star Said Benrahma could outlast David Moyes at the London Stadium.
Benrahma, 27, joined the Hammers from Brentford in October 2020 on a season-long loan, but his move was made permanent three months later for £30 million (Athletic).
The Algerian has never been given license to show what he’s truly capable of under David Moyes though.
Benrahma and Moyes certainly haven’t been a match made in heaven, that’s for sure.

The Scot clearly isn’t a fan of players expressing themselves to the detriment of a rigid defensive setup.
And Moyes’s tactical setup and demands of his players have proven to hold Benrahma back. So much so that the Algeria international has been linked with an exit from the London Stadium.
Moyes is now being heavily tipped for the sack, however, following an awful run of results this season.
So could the unexpected happen and Benrahma stay whilst Moyes is moved on? I believe so…
Unbelievably, Said Benrahma could outlast David Moyes
As things stand, Benny seems far more likely stay at West Ham than David Moyes.
And I for one will be delighted if that happens.
The Algeria international has often incurred the wrath of David Moyes since moving to the London Stadium, unfairly so in my opinion.
Benrahma tries things that others don’t and as a result, he sometimes loses the ball. However, the bottom line is that he is our most creative player, that’s a fact.

Moyes seems to be intent on taking the joy out of every creative force that we have, specifically Benrahma.
The Algerian winger just isn’t Moyes’s cup of tea. It’s clear and obvious for everyone to see that.
Many believe that that is because Benrahma was a David Sullivan signing, and there may well be some truth to that.
The funny thing is, should Moyes be sacked, then Benrahma will outlast him at the London Stadium.
And nobody would have predicted that this time last year.
