No need for a new signing as David Moyes will reportedly promote ‘phenomenal’ West Ham United teenager.

West Ham manager David Moyes is set to promote one of our very best young players to the senior squad this summer.

The Hammers boss has some big decisions to make before the start of next season, with Gianluca Scamacca, Michail Antonio and Danny Ings all facing uncertain futures at the London Stadium.

And according to a report from The Guardian, Moyes is ready to promote Divin Mubama to the first-team next season.

That will be a great call in my opinion, for more reasons than one…

No need for a new signing as David Moyes will reportedly promote ‘phenomenal’ teenager

The 18-year-old striker is set for a big promotion this summer, and that’s great news for the Hammers fans.

Moyes actually admitted last season that Mubama deserved to be training and playing with the senior side more regularly.

And now it appears as though the young Londoner is ready to make the jump up.

Football Fancast have described Mubama as a ‘phenomenal’ young talent, and they’re bang on the money. He is big and strong and possesses really impressive pace along with terrific movement and a keen eye for goal.

What a player we have on our hands at the London Stadium!

Here’s the thing as well – if David Moyes promotes Mubama to the West Ham first-team, he won’t have to bring a new striker to the club this summer.

The Scot could sell Ings and keep Scamacca and Antonio, with Mubama pushing them both for a place in the starting lineup.

I think that the teenager is a really special talent and will go on to become a big fan favourite at the London Stadium. He might just save us millions of pounds in the transfer market as well!
