The 19-year-old arrived at the London Stadium from Chelsea last month.
Originally it was though that the teenager would play for the Hammers’ youth teams during this upcoming season.
Elimby has really impressed during two pre-season friendly games so far this summer, however.

And if anything, he has given Moyes a big decision to make.
What will David Moyes do with Pierre Ekwah Elimby?
The 19-year-old has proven that not only is he very good in possession, but more importantly that he has the physical capabilities to cope with the robust and intense nature of Premier League football.
It could be argued that that is actually the most important thing for young players trying to make it in England’s top flight.
Elimby has energy and stamina in abundance. He seems to be the perfect David Moyes type player. So it is little wonder that the Scot brought the talented youngster to the London Stadium.

Moyes must now decide whether to fully integrate him into the West Ham first-team squad, see what he can do with the under 23’s or send him out on loan.
The early signs are that he is more than capable of mixing it with the big boys.
Perhaps the West Ham boss and the fans need to be patient with the former Chelsea starlet, however. Having him as our third or fourth choice central midfielder this season would put a lot of pressure on his young shoulders.

Elimby is clearly a very exciting young talent. Moyes will probably opt to ease him into action slowly, however. Whether he decides to loan him out to a Championship club or keep him with the under-23’s remains to be seen.
Much will depend on whether or not the Scot signs a new central midfielder before the start of the new Premier League season.
