Adrien Rabiot links with January transfer window West Ham United move are beyond ridiculous, in my personal opinion.

Give Me Sport recently claimed that Hammers boss David Moyes wants to bring Rabiot, 27, to the London Stadium from Juventus in January.

Now, it goes without saying that I would love the French international to move to the London Stadium.

He has really stood out for Les Bleus at the World Cup out in Qatar this winter, featuring in five of their six games leading to the final.

Rabiot has been superb for Juventus this season as well, with three goals and two assists to his name in 11 Serie A appearances (Who Scored).

During those outings, the Frenchman has averaged 1.9 tackles and 1.1 interceptions per game (Who Scored).

Rabiot has made 33.9 passes on average per match and has recorded an impressive completion rate of 85.5% (Who Scored).

The 27-year-old is a brilliant all-round midfielder, and would obviously be an incredible addition for West Ham. Something just doesn’t ring true though…

In my opinion, there is absolutely zero chance that we sign the France international in the January transfer window.

There are two reasons for this. Firstly, he has been an important member of the Juventus squad this season.

So why would he swap Turin for East London?

Secondly, and most importantly, the competition for Rabiot’s signature is beyond fierce.

Manchester United, Newcastle and Arsenal all want to sign the 27-year-old according to Give Me Sport.

Those three clubs are all light years ahead of West Ham at the moment. So once again, the question must be asked: Why would the Juventus star want to move to the Hammers instead of Man United, Arsenal or Newcastle?

It just makes no sense.

In fact, it is so obvious we won’t be signing Rabiot that I genuinely believe that David Moyes wouldn’t even waste his time chasing him.

The Adrien Rabiot links links are nothing more than a red herring in my opinion.
