The Hammers have made a fine start to their 2021/22 Premier League campaign despite a couple of heartbreaking last minute defeats against Manchester United and Brentford.

West Ham have won both of our Europa League clashes and made progress through to the next round of the Carabao Cup as well.

Overall, David Moyes will be very happy.

One of the key parts to the Hammers’ impressive showings this season is our attacking play and how many chances we have been creating.

With Michail Antonio as our only centre-forward, it is vital for all of the players to chip in with goals and assists.

Moyes has plenty of attacking midfielders at his disposal who should be looking to bag at least eight or nine assists this season.

But which West Ham player has actually made the most key passes so far this term in the Premier League?

The top five list might just surprise a few…

Michail Antonio – 2.6

Jarrod Bowen – 1.7

Pablo Fornals – 1.7

Aaron Cresswell – 1.6

Said Benrahma – 1.6

The fact that our powerhouse, muscle-man centre-forward Michail Antonio has created more chances with key passes than anyone else, and by quite some bargain, is a real surprise.

And what about our left-back coming in at fourth on the list!

That’s the great thing about this team, we really can create chances from all positions on the pitch.
