West Ham owners send massively mixed David Moyes message to journalist very close to Sullivan

The West Ham owners have just sent a massively mixed David Moyes message to a journalist very close to David Sullivan.

The Hammers are in all sorts of trouble at the moment and are currently sitting in 17th spot in the Premier League table, just two points clear of bottom placed Southampton.

West Ham have taken just 14 points from our 17 Premier League games so far this season. That’s clearly not good enough.

Amazingly though, it has been claimed that David Moyes has the full backing of the West Ham owners.

That’s not acceptable in my opinion, we are clearly sleepwalking toward an absolute disaster.

Maybe, just maybe though, the owners won’t accept the current form for too much longer…

West Ham owners send mixed David Moyes message

Claret and Hugh have been told by the Hammers owners that Moyes’s job at the London Stadium is safe.

However, it is suggested that ‘defeats have to stop’, if he is to remain in charge at West Ham.

That just doesn’t make sense in my eyes. How can Moyes be safe yet at the same time, be a couple of defeats away from the sack?

I would suggest that the message from the owners is somewhat of a warning for Moyes.

Our next three Premier League games are Leeds (a), Wolves (a) and Everton (h). One would think that nothing less than five points from those games will do.

Really though, Moyes should be targeting at least six or seven points if he wants to remain in charge of the Hammers.

Something has to change, and fast. The style of football has been so boring to watch this season.

The thing is, Moyes has the players now to set up on the front foot and take games to the opposition. Whether he does that remains to be seen.

And judging by Claret and Hugh’s latest report, David Sullivan’s support of David Moyes certainly isn’t unconditional.
